Hope Begins Here

Salvation is the heart of the gospel. It is a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ that begins with repentance, grows through faith, and is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Through salvation, we are forgiven, made new, and called to live a holy life as we follow Him.

Being Saved

  • Conviction of Sin
The Holy Spirit reveals our sin and our need for a Savior.
John 16:8 – “He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”

  • Repentance
Turning away from sin with a sincere heart toward God.
Acts 3:19 – “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…”

  • Faith in Jesus Christ
Believing Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose again for our salvation.
Ephesians 2:8–9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith… it is the gift of God.”
Romans 10:9 – “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus… you will be saved.”

  • Water Baptism
Public declaration of dying to sin and being raised in new life.
Acts 2:38 – “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ…”
Mark 16:16 – “He who believes and is baptized will be saved…”

  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Receiving power to live a holy life and to be a witness for Christ.
Acts 1:8 – “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…”
Acts 2:4 – “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues…”

  • Living a Holy Life
Continuing to walk in obedience, led by the Spirit and set apart for God.
Hebrews 12:14 – “Pursue… holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”
Galatians 5:16 – “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”

  • Perseverance to the End
Salvation is maintained through faithfulness and endurance.
Matthew 24:13 – “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
Philippians 2:12 – “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
